These Terms and Conditions apply to every website sale between Waste Away Ltd and its customers. There will be no variations to these terms and conditions unless explicitly stated in writing by Waste Away Ltd.

Trading Name

Our legal business name is Waste Away Ltd., and we also trade under this name. “Waste Away Ltd.” will appear on cardholder statements for any transactions made through this website.

Content

While we endeavor to supply correct information on this website at all times, mistakes, errors or omissions may occur. Waste Away Ltd takes no responsibility for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, resulting from the use or application of information contained on this site.

Pricing

Prices shown on the Waste Away Ltd website are listed in New Zealand dollars, and are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to change or alter any prices at any time for any reason. Any variation to an order (once accepted) will result in price adjusting to reflect the variation.

Payment

All bins must be paid for before or on delivery. If you are paying by D/C the payment must be made at least 24 hours before bin delivery in order to process payment.

If paying by credit card you are authorizing us to charge your card for the bin hire and any overweight charges that may apply. Weight limits are clearly displayed on our website under the bin sizes required. A receipt and copy of the tip weight docket can be requested.

Overweight charges are $20.00 per 100 kg over the weight limit.

If you are not booking online you must arrange payment with the office.

We can call you before delivery if required and if you missed our call we will move on to the next job or cancel your delivery. If you are paying cash on delivery please ensure that you have right amount of cash as our drivers don’t carry cash.

Cancellation fee of $30.00.This cost also applies if we arrive at your site but can’t deliver the bin because of access restrictions.

If for any reason we cannot pick up our bin and we have to make another trip to the site, there may be an extra charge.

Account customers with a credit account need to pay by the 20th of the month following. Failure to make payment on the agreed terms may incur a penalty interest of 1.5% per month from the due date to actual date of payment.

Additional fees will be charged if:

• Bins are overweight
• Bins contain unpermitted waste
• Bins are damaged
• Bins have been moved to an inaccessible site after delivery

Things Not Allowed in General Bins

• Large trees and stumps. Branch size limit 4" diameter.
• Tyres
• Paint
• Fibrolite(asbestos)
• Polystyrene
• Bulk sawdust, bulk food waste
• Medical waste, hazardous goods
• Hard fill e.g. soil, concrete, bricks or tiles
• No roots with soil attached
• Liquid Waste
• Flammable liquid
• Bark and Compost
• Refridgerators

HardFill Bins

Hardfill bins are only for soil, concrete, bricks, tiles or stones.NO general rubbish allowed in hardfill bins.

If asbestos is found in the bin, tip will arrange removal of this at a minimum charge of $3000.00 to you the customer.

Delivery Policy

Waste Away Ltd will make ever endeavor to deliver your bin on the day that delivery has been booked, but Waste Away Ltd will not be liable for any failure or delays in delivery. Late delivery will not entitle the cancelation of any order or entitle any refunds or discounts. Waste Away Ltd is not open on Sundays or Public Holidays.

Refund Policy

Waste Away Ltd will provide a full refund on any bin not provided by Waste Away Ltd. If you wish to cancel your order and obtain a refund you must give Waste Away Ltd 4 working days’ notice prior to the delivery date. No refunds will be given for any bin delivered to the scheduled delivery address and turned away.

Privacy & Personal Information

Through conducting its normal business, Waste Away Ltd may collect customer information including purchase history, contact and delivery details. This information will remain confidential and will be held securely, and will not be disclosed to any third party.

Customer Consent

Customers who do not wish to have any personal information collected and used for any purpose other than that required to complete the transaction will need to express this in writing at the time of purchase.

Liability

Waste Away Ltd. will not be liable for any claims, loss or expenses related to the non-supply of bins. We will not be liable for any damage done to the driveways overhead or underground services including cables and drainage.

Commercial Customers:
Our front load truck needs at least 3m clearance around the truck to service these particular bins to avoid any damage to customer’s vehicle or property.
You will be liable to Waste Away Ltd for any damage to a bin while in you possession subject to normal wear and tear.

Health & Safety

Due to the rules and regulations of NZ Land Transport Safety Authority, the NZ Police and The Occupational Health and Safety Authority, overloaded and insecure loads cannot be transported

Acceptance of terms and Conditions

If you do not accept our terms and conditions please contact us immediately and do not load the bin.

Access to Personal Information

Personal information relating to the customer is available under the Privacy Act 1993, and the customer may request changes to the information held.
